Operational fundraising support with year over year growth

Kennari partnered with the Grand Rapids Public Museum to identify and implement strategies to grow their annual fundraising program. This included conducting an assessment of organizational goals, the board's strength to support philanthropy, fundraising program infrastructure and analysis of current fundraising activities and outcomes. Following the assessment, Kennari provided coaching to the team to establishing and implement a clear, actionable plan for growth.

A major focus of the work was shifting toward developing stronger individual donor messaging and relationships.  Kennari provided guidance to launch a major gifts program, implement a deliberate donor acquisition strategy, and create opportunities for more intentional mission-focused connections for event attendees.

Since beginning the partnership in 2014, total fundraising revenue has grown significantly.  The intentional focus on building donor engagement within the major gifts program laid the groundwork for the organization’s capital campaign, now in its final stages.
